Back from CIII

Ah...what a weekend. :-)

I stood in lines that were unbelievable, forgot the kid's ADD meds, left a bag of stuff I bought in the hotel when I left, lost the car 3 times, had to walk in the rain to find said car, ended up with a cold, blew my budget on the first day...






And wouldn't have missed it for the world.:-)

Whoa, where to start....


First, Ed didn't go at the last moment, but I still took Zack. He was pretty good, and I got to meet so many wonderful people from the boards.

The lines made me skip a lot of the good stuff, but Zack got to go on stage with Ray Park (Darth Maul) and duel with him.

Went to a bar with a lot of the Cantina people. There isn't a nicer bunch of people out there. And I mean it.:-)

Spent some time with Bert (yodamum) in the hotel lobby, watching all the "kids" playing with thier lightsabers. The look on the hotel staff, and other people staying there was unforgetable.

Also, I ran into the "Arrhae Tahl Fan Club". Holy crap!


Someone in the Cantina obviously set me up. I was sitting in the Fan Lounge, when this group of 4 people came up to me, all giggle and fanboy like. "Oooh, It's Arrhae Tahl! Can I get a picture with you? Can I get an autograph?" and stuff like that.

I played along....the first time. The second time, after they left, and I was beet red, this other group of people walked up and asked for an autograph as well. I tried to explain that I was 'nobody',and the man persisted. I mumbled somethig and signed it.

This poor sap is going to go home and be all happy about getting an "AT" autopraph. And I'm sure his friends are going to say something like, "Who the %$@! is Arrhae Tahl?"

Anyway. I took lots of pics, and I'm still uploading them. Will write more later.
